Engine piston

The engine piston is one of the main parts in the engine. It forms a piston group with piston rings, piston pins and other parts, and forms a combustion chamber with the cylinder head, etc. It bears the force of the gas and transmits the power to the crankshaft through the piston pin and connecting rod to complete the working process of the internal combustion engine. The piston is a key component that reciprocates in the cylinder block of the automobile engine.

Piston structure

According to the working conditions and requirements of different engines, the structure of the piston itself is various. Generally, the piston is divided into three parts: the top, the head and the skirt.

From the top of the engine piston, it is round, but in fact the shape of the piston is elliptical.
